The City Secretary serves as an administrative secretary to the Mayor, City Administrator and other city officials; manages, organizes and processes all official records of the City of Whitesboro. The City Secretary also supervises municipal elections; coordinates public meetings of staff, the City Council, and Boards and Commissions. The City Secretary serves as the primary telephone contact with the public and performs related work as required.
The City Secretary is responsible for the organization of all official records. These records of the City of Whitesboro are open; however, to obtain these records, one must make a request in writing specifying what records are needed. An Open Record Request form can be obtained by public request at City Hall located at 111 West Main, Whitesboro, Texas or download the PDF file and return it to:
